Have you experienced thoughts, emotions or behaviors that are difficult to manage, and that affect your relationships, your work or your sense of well-being? Well, therapy could be a great place to start.

We all will endure stress at some point in time in our lives. Contemporary stress tends to be more pervasive, persistent and insidious because it stems primarily from psychological than physical threats. Stress was once the cause of primal threats of tigers, lions, and bears, now it is reduced to everyday interactions, social media rants, parenting, negative forecasting of what ifs, maybes, and should haves. Of course, not all stress is bad but chronic and toxic stress are not only bad for your physical health but mental health. Adults as well as children are impacted by the daily stressors of life. However, most will not seek therapy for various reasons; shame, guilt, negative thoughts, lack of awareness, and the devastating stigma mental health therapy still has on society.

Wait, there’s good news, not all therapy is talk therapy! Actually, there are so many non-traditional modalities of treatment to heal the mind and body. Some of those are: music therapy, yoga, art therapy, somatic therapy, equine therapy, service animal wellness, exercise, and just hearing someone else’s story of resiliency that can bring healing to the soul.

Finding Inner Transformation (F.I.T.) believes all parts of the body are relevant and at need for healing…Spirit, Mind, and Body. We provide seminars, and trainings to organizations in efforts to learn and heal collectively while normalizing mental wellness. F.I.T. provides crisis debriefs to companies that have experienced unexpected traumatic events such as loss of an employee, first responder traumas, etc. F.I.T. and 911 Academy are partners in collaborating fire arm safety training, and mental health wellness to individuals, and organizations as both are a means to provide a sense of safety and security.

In addition, F.I.T. provides a 4-week program called THRIVE that educates on balanced nutritional lifestyle, functional movement patterns, and mental health awareness for individuals, families, and organizations. Last but not least, F.I.T. uses a live virtual platform to discuss healthy ways to heal through resiliency, posttraumatic growth, relationship building, parenting focus, and self-care fundamentals on a show called FIT CHAT CHIT CHAT that airs live twice a month.

We believe there is healing though experiential processing on a platform that provides support, nurturing, and strategies that transform belief systems, and most importantly restores quality of life so that people can live the best version of themselves.
